Question About Sony Laptop PCG-4F1L
No Power...

bought new correct power cord but the machine won't power up. There is an exposed endcap on one side of the monitor hinge. One side has the endcap but the other doesnt. It has electrical contacts visable

0 Vaio Laptop will not power up by pressing power button. Ironically, laptop will power up using the green A/V mode button, then toggling through menu to "Start Windows".
