cant downgrade fron vista to xp : returns blue screen error

0 I also have issues loading xp. The blue screen appears after all the files are loaded. I am using a xp cd that is first revision (non sp2).

0 Download the SATA drivers from the laptops website. Expand the onto floppy. Get a usb floppy driver. XP is specific about the usb floppys so check the microsoft website for this information. Connect the floppy and insert the driver disk. Boot up off of xp and press "F6". Press it when you see it. Press "S" to load the drivers. Choose ICH9M driver. Continue the install as normal.
