Question About Sony Microcassette Recorder Sony IC recorder ICD-UX70
how to turn it off...

I can't figure out how to shut off my recorder. I press the stop button twice after recording, but the display doesn't shut off for awhile, so I don't know if it's turned off or not. Now my battery is low and I've barely used it.

5 On the back there is a "Hold" button - slide it to the right (toward the arrow). It should shut down within about 30 seconds.

3 Its been about 6 months since I used mine and the battery ran out, so I replaced it with a new fully charged one and now it won't turn on.

1 The time remaining indicator originally showed over 17 hours and some odd minutes (17h Xm). Now when the device is empty it shows -2h 56m. How do I reclaim the additional time?
