0 I have had a projector operating 6-10 hours a day 7 days a week for 6 years and changed the bulb for only the third time this week. The clarity was 70 % improved with the new bulb. Forgot what changing the bulb does for clarity. I have 2 of these units and a Sony VPL hs51 and I only prefer the HS 51 due to HDMI cable hookup. The hs10 by Sony is a terrific unit and highly recommended, but may be like cars, same make and model, but 1 does not perform as another. Hope this helps !!!!
