I am having an "hardware error home position" error on a Tally T2030 printer. How do I fix this error

0 I'm not familiar with your printer but in general when a printer powers up, its microprocessor returns printhead to LH margin, or home position. There is a sensor at LH and/or RH margins. If sensor is faulty then printhead slams into margin and uP times out waiting for signal. If motor or motor driver circuit is faulty, then printhead remains stationery and uP times out. Look for paper chad at ends of travel. Some printers also have an encoder strip which can cause similar issues.
