My scanner is still scanning, and stopping on hits, but I can't hear anything. Volume/Squelch are fine, antenna is fine. Tried unplugging & moving, etc. and nothing. Is there a way to reset the scanner to eliminate this problem? I would prefer, if possible, not to eliminate the programmed channels, but if I have to, I will. Then I'll need instructions on resetting as I can't find my manual. Thanks.
