I bought a used Viewsonic PJ875 projector on ebay. I connected it to my laptop using a 3rd party RGB connector, which did not come with the projector. Everything looked good for about 45 minutes--although things were not as clear as I had hoped. I assumed this was some setting---then the text started becoming pencil thin and the colors faded away. I turned it off and let it rest as I read the manual and set my laptop resolution to 800x600 and shut down my laptop. Then I turned the projector on again and started up my laptop. Looked GREAT at first--but, in 10 minutes, it started flickering, losing color and the lamp turned off. There never was a warning about the lamp--and the settings indicate this is to be displayed. Do I have a dying projector or is this something that can be fixed at a what estimated cost? I have not provided feedback to the ebay seller yet--it was advertised as having been checked out by a technician with everything in good, working condition. I would appreciate your advice ASAP so I can get back to the seller. THANKS!!!
