I have the Westinghouse L2210NW monitor. All of a sudden it wouldn't power on. I changed the power cable, checked the power jack on both ends. Still nothing. The White 'W' will light up for about 3 seconds and then goes black. The power button has not response.

0 Check the capacitors. Mine did the same thing and it was the capacitors. I got them from ebay really cheap. Have someone open your monitor and check them before you throw it out or pay alot to have it fixed. You can fix it yourself. Just go to youtube and type in-- how to replace the capacitors in a monitor.

0 Actually the better option is to just buy new electrolytic capacitors made for switch mode power supplies (High Ripple Current) types from a reliable vendor like http://www.Digikey.com or http://www.Mouser.com When you purchase in greater quantities, they price out really cheap, plus you get them fast too. Usually the culprits will be showing signs of bulging. Replace any that show any indication of bulging the top out. While there also check the condition of the solder joints in the vicinity of the failure to make sure they are sound. I salvaged a Westinghouse that only needed 2 caps replaced. Took me all of 20 minutes.
