Question About Westinghouse Laptop NB-14w2
how to repaire the Power Jack of Westinghouse Notebook Computer NB-14w2...

Kindly, tell me how to open the back cover of the laptop the pictorial help will be appreciated, so that I can repair the power jack as it is not fixed properly and the laptop taking the power in.

1 I was just in mine today and found that after I took off the small little cover where the dc adapter goes that was not what I needed off. It is a much bigger part of the back that has to come off. From what I could surmise, looked like all around the edge almost of the computer were some deep holes with screws in them. I figured it was those I had to take out to get to the place I needed. I haven't done that yet, although I may try tonight. Good Luck

0 I have the same problem. I can't get the dc jack (new one) to solder into the board. I just want a new board, I'm about to ruin this one anyway from overheating it. Now my question is WHERE CAN I GET MY PART? Jesus, Westinghouse should be ashamed.
