5 1. Restart computer. 2. Try plugging in headphones to see if sound comes out. 3. Right click the sound icon and make sure nothing is muted, also click on playback devices and make sure to set the default one to the one you will be using. 4. If no sound comes out then the drivers could be corrupted or need updating, to do this click the windows button then search Device manager. This will bring up the list of devices connected to the computer. Click on audio or sound devices, then double click on the speaker/audio output. Attempt to update drivers 5. Worst case scenario, windows 7 didn't install correctly therefore uninstall then reinstall windows 6. If all else fails then clearly the speakers are faulty
