Redo: I own a woods surge protector 5719. It has 6 (3 prong) outlets, telephone outlet and one (3 prong) outlet on the opposite end (i.e., away from the power cord). I recall in the manual that in order for the bank of three outlets, with the dots, to work something has to be plugged into the three prong outlet located at the end of the surge protector. I have plugged in many electrical appliance cords to no avail. Help.
