My xerox 242 leaves a 1/4" blank image along the ...

My xerox 242 leaves a 1/4" blank image along the 17" only when I run black. When I do full color with cyan, yellow or magenta it doesn't show. My xerox 242 if I run a full solid black print I get a faded image about 1/4" along the bottom 17" side. Any other cmyk color there is no line.
