Understanding the LEDs
Your XHub for Notebooks has 6 colored LEDs to help you monitor
the status of your XHub and USB devices. Refer to the figure below
for the location of each LED.
■ The red Power LED indicates that the XHub is connected to a
power source and that the power is on.
■ The green USB Uplink LED indicates that the XHub is properly
connected to a USB port on your computer, and that a USB 2.0
driver (version 3.0 or later) is installed. (See Installing Drivers on
page 5 for more information.)
■ The four USB Device LEDs (numbered 1 through 4) indicate the
status of the four USB ports on your XHub (numbered 1
through 4). When a Device LED is illuminated, a USB device is
connected to the corresponding USB port.
