Take Apart CD-ROM Drive Assembly - 10
Caution:
To remove the
assembly without damaging
it, turn the unit upside
down, as shown.
1 Slide the release button
forward.
Caution
: Grasp the ridged
area of the plastics—
not
the
metal cover. This prevents
bending the metal top case
and possibly damaging the
drive.
2 Grasp the CD-ROM drive
assembly by its ridged
area and pull it out of the
media bay.
