2.4 Connecting the cables
1. Connect the cables as the following instructions:
VGA
Audio-in
VGA
Audio-in
VE198 VE208
• To connect the audio cable: connect one end of the audio cable to the
monitor’sAudio-inport,theotherendtothecomputer'saudio-outport.
• To connect the power cord:connectoneendofthepowercordsecurelyto
themonitor’sACinputport,theotherendtoapoweroutlet.
• To connect the VGA/DVI cable:
a. PlugtheVGA/DVIconnectortotheLEDmonitor’sVGA/DVIport.
b. ConnecttheotherendoftheVGA/DVIcabletoyourcomputer'sVGA/
DVI.
c. TightenthetwoscrewstosecuretheVGA/DVIconnector.
Whenthesecablesareconnected,youcanchoosethedesiredsignalfromthe
Input Select item of the OSD functions.
2. Gatherallthecableswiththecablemanagementslot.
2.5 Turning on the monitor
Gentlypressthepowerbutton . See page 1-3 for the location of the power button.
The power indicator
lightsupinbluetoshowthatthemonitorisON.
