3. Unpacking and Setup
This chapter provides unpacking and setup information for the Switch.
3.1 Package Contents
Unpack the package and check all the items carefully. If any item contained is
damaged or missing, please contact your local dealer as soon as possible. Also, keep
the box and packing materials in case you need to ship the unit in the future. The
package should contain the following items:
• One NetMaster F8POE Switch
• One external AC Power Supply
• Rubber footpads for Desk-mount
• One Quick Start Guide (English, Italian and French)
3.2 Installation
The setup of the Switch can be performed using the following steps:
• The surface must support at least 1.5 Kg for the Switch.
• The power outlet should be within 1.82 meters (6 feet) of the Switch.
