ExpressPCI FC 3321
The ATTO ExpressPCI FC 3321 has two SFF
duplex LC optical connectors and uses a short
wave laser. A multi-mode cable must be used with
short wave lasers. For best performance you
should use 50 micron multi-mode optical cables.
Cable length should be no more than 500 meters.
ExpressPCI FC 3322
The ATTO ExpressPCI FC 3322 has two
pluggable SFP LC optical connectors and uses a
short wave laser. A multi-mode cable must be
used with short wave lasers. For best performance
you should use 50 micron multi-mode optical
cables. Cable length should be no more than 500
meters.
ExpressPCI FC 3342
The ATTO ExpressPCI FC 3342 has four
pluggable SFP LC optical connectors and uses a
short wave laser. A multi-mode cable must be
used with short wave lasers. For best performance
you should use 50 micron multi-mode optical
cables. Cable length should be no more than 500
meters.
LEDs
Dual-purpose LEDs, one per port and visible
through the bracket, indicate activity on the Fibre
Channel link. A blinking green LED shows
activity on that channel; a yellow LED shows a
fault condition.
Cabling
Fibre Channel technology offers a variety of
cabling options including standard copper,
equalized copper and fiber optic, depending on
the requirements of your environment.
