Displaying the
DVMRP Route
Table
The DVMRP route table contains information on valid DVMRP
routes, the expiry for those routes, and additional next-hop
information.
To view the DVMRP route table:
1. Select Route Table from the Routing > DVMRP group on the
web agent window. The DVMRP Route Table dialog box
opens (Figure9-28).

2. To modify your DVMRP Route table, do one of the following:
— Select the entry and click Delete Entry to delete one or
more entries.
— Click Flush Table to clear the entire table.
— Click REFRESH to receive the most up-to-date
information on the entries in the table.

Source Network Network from which a multicast flow may originate.
Source Network Mask Source network mask.
Reporting Router IP address of the router reporting this route to its
neighbors.

IP interface configured, which leads to the upstream
neighbor (DVMRP router).
Route Metric Router’s cost to source network.
Expiration Period in
(sec)
Time (in seconds) remaining before the source network is
removed from the DVMRP routing table.
