Open the Page Setup dialog box.

Click the Utilities button.

Select Custom Settings from the drop-down menu.

Select Pause between pages, then click Send.
■ You may need to clean some internal parts of the printer. Follow the procedure
below.

Load several sheets of letter-size or A4 paper into the printer’s paper
feeder.

Hold down the RESUME/CANCEL button until the POWER lamp flashes
three times, then release the button.

Repeat this operation until there are no more smudges on the test page.
