t ing, without draft mode fault s,
USING ULTRA SMALL INK DROPS.
Canon’s Advanced MicroFine Droplet
Technology uses microscopic ink
droplets only 5 picolitres in size with
High Intensity inks for more vibrant
colours. These are precision placed,
enabling 1200 dpi on plain paper
and resolution up to 2400 x 1200
dpi on higher quality papers.
The result is smoother colour
graduations and improved
tonal quality, with sharper
lines and edges.
SEPARATE INK TANKS SAVE MONEY TOO.
The inks are optimised for low-cost plain paper,
and contained in individually replaceable ink tanks,
which are separate from the permanent print
head. An onscreen alert warns you when any of
the inks are running low. You’ll save money,
and it helps you avoid running low on
ink halfway through a document.
LONGER LASTING, BETTER
LOOKING PHOTOS.
Using Canon Photo Paper Pro, the S520’s High Intensity inks deliver
exceptional colour-fastness. Tests have shown that, stored properly,
prints will retain their light-fastness (as defined by the International
Standards Organisation) for as long as 25 years.
