Programming discounts and premiums
You can use the % key to register either discounts (percentage decreases) or premium (percentage increases).
The following procedures let you select the operation you want for % key. They also let you program a
preset rate, the tax calculation method and the tax rounding method.

Tax calculation status
This specification defines where the
result of the percent calculation on
a subtotal should be reflected
(added to or subtracted from) for tax
purposes.
Note that this specification is for
calculations with subtotal only, and
is not applied for calculations in-
volving individual items.
