A. Yes. The Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series has all the features of the Cisco Catalyst 2960-S Series. All Cisco
Catalyst 2960 switches run the same Cisco IOS Software train, which provides maximum compatibility.
Q. What is the switch database management (SDM) template for the Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series?
A. The SDM templates supported for the Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series are as shown in Table 7.

2960-XR
IP Lite
default - 2960-XR default template. Supports IPv4 and IPv6 routing.
vlan - Layer 2 only template with large Layer 2 entries.
ipv4 - IPv4 only template with large routing entries.
