Removing the Optical Drive
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery from the computer.
3. Remove the screw that secures the optical drive in place.
4. Insert a plastic scribe into the notch and slide the optical drive slightly out of the computer.
