Security
The Security tab displays the security status and allows you to manage the security features of the
computer.
Supervisor Password Specifies whether a Supervisor password has been
assigned. (Default: Not assigned)
User Password Specifies whether a User password has been
assigned. (Default: Not assigned)
Set Supervisor Password Allows you to set a Supervisor password
Set User Password Allows you to set a User password. This field only
shows after a supervisor password is set.
HDD Protection (For Vostro only) allows you to enable or disable HDD protection.
(Default: Disabled)
HDD Security Configuration Allows you to set a Hard Drive password. (Default:
Not assigned)
Exit
This section allows you to save, discard and load default settings before exiting from Setup Utility.
