5 Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet.
6 Restart the printer.
If the error occurs again:
1 Turn the printer off.
2 Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
3 Remove the duplex unit.
4 Contact Customer Support.
• Press to clear the message and print without using the duplex unit.
Check tray <x> connection
Try one or more of the following:
• Turn the printer off and then back on.
If the error occurs a second time:
1 Turn the printer off.
2 Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
3 If an optional duplex unit is installed, then remove it.
4 Remove the indicated tray.
5 Reattach the tray.
6 Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet.
7 Restart the printer.
If the error occurs again:
1 Turn the printer off.
2 Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
3 Remove the tray.
4 Contact Customer Support.
• Press to clear the message and print without using the tray.
Clearing job accounting statistics
Wait for the message to clear.
Close door or insert cartridge
The cartridge is missing or not installed correctly. Insert the cartridge and close all doors and covers.
Close finisher side door
Close the finisher side door to clear the message.
