CONFIGURING THE ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS
Use this page to change the system passwords. The two accounts that can access
the router's Web management interface are admin and user. Admin has read/
write access, while user has read-only access. A user can only view the settings but
cannot make any changes.
To configure administrator settings:
1 Access the Configuration menu by following the instructions in To access
the Web-based configuration utility: on page 13.
2 Click the
Tools tab, then the Admin button. The Administrator Settings
screen opens.
3 Enter the following, as appropriate:
Field Description
New Password
(Administrator)
The new administrator password.
Confirm Password
(Administrator)
Re-enter the new administrator password to confirm.
New Password (User) The new user password.
Confirm Password
(User)
Re-enter the new user password to confirm.
