High-Speed USB2.0 PCI Card
Driver installation
and
Windows 2000, XP, 2003:
Windows
98SE and ME:
The system will automatically detect USB 2.0 PCI Card and install driver by itself under
Windows 2003, XP, and 2000 operation systems .
1. Please make sure this PCI card has been plugged into the PCI slot.
2. System will detect the new hardware, and please ignore it.
Insert the CD driver into the CD-ROM drive and run the "Setup.exe" program
located within folder of the Driver CD
\USB\USB2.0-VIA\DRIVER\Setup.exe
3.Then this Setup program will install the driver automatically. After installing driver
Successfully, press "Finish" to end driver installation procedure and Reboot the
system.
4.After restarting , open the Device Manager and check if the devices can work properly.
Start > Controller Panel > System > Device Manager
Note :
If there is a yellow exclamation mark on "VIA USB Universal Open
Host Controller", please remove this item from the Device Manager
by clicking the Uninstall button and click Refresh to re -install this
driver again.
When the process of installing USB driver, system would ask your original operation
system CD.

Right click your mouse on "My Computer" and select "Properties" to check your
operation system service pack version as below pictures shown. If your operation
system is NOT Microsoft Windows 2000 service pack 4 and Windows XP service pack 1
or later.
Please visit Microsoft web site ( ) or use update function
on your system to upgrade the latest version service pack of operation system.
