Simplyplugoneendofthepowercordintotheunit,andtheotherendintoagrounded

ACpowersource.Unitsaretypicallyconnectedtoapowerstriporotherpoweroutlet

thatmaybecycledonandoff.Anuninterruptiblepowersupplymayalsobeused.

Checktomake

sureeachmoduleinstalleddisplaysagreenPowerLED(seeFigure 2‐4).

VerifythatanymodulethatdoesnotdisplayagreenPowerLEDisproperlyseatedinthe

chassisbackplane.

Ifproblemsexist,refertothetroubleshootingchecklistinChapter 3,Troubleshooting.
