LIMITED TWENTY YEAR CUTTING BLADE WARRANT AND
LIMTED TWO YEAR WARRANTY FOR ALL OTHER PARTS
Acco Brands warrants to the original purchaser that:
(a) the cutting blades for the GBC RSX128,RDS1713,R
DX1413,RDS1819,RDX1619 Shredders are free from
defects in workmanship and material under normal
use and service for a period of twenty (20) years after
purchase, one (1) year for GDM10 and GDHS7 and
(b) all other parts of the GBC RSX128,RDS1713,
RDX1413, RDS1819,RDX1619, GDM10, GDHS7
Shredders are free from defects in workmanship and
material under normal use and service for a period of
two (2) years after purchase.
GBC’s obligation under this warranty is limited to
replacement or repair, at GBC’s option, of any warranted
part found defective by GBC without charge for material
or labor. Any replacement, at GBC’s option, may be the
same product or a substantially similar product that
may contain remanufactured or refurbished parts. This
warranty shall be void in the following circumstances:
(i) if the product has been misused,
(ii) if the product has been damaged by negligence or
accident, or
(iii) if the product has been altered by anyone other than
GBC or GBC’s authorized agents, or
(iv) if the GDM10 or GDHS7 model has been used to
shred CD’s, paper clips, or staples.

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS
WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESSED
WARRANTIES. REPRESENTATIONS OR PROMISES
INCONSISTENTWITH OR IN ADDITION TO THIS
WARRANTY ARE UNAUTHORIZED AND SHALL NOT
BE BINDING ON GBC. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY
APPLICABLE LAWS, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES (IF AP-
PLICABLE) ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION
OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS
DO NOT ALLOW
LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY
LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO
YOU. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW,
IN NO EVENT SHALL GBC BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL
OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT
FORESEEABLE. SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS DO
NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF
SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSE-
QUENTIAL, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE
EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is not
transferable and will automatically terminate if the
original product purchaser sells or otherwise disposes
of the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Other
rights, which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, may
exist. In addition some jurisdictions do not allow (i) the
exclusion of certain warranties, (ii) limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts and/or (iii) the exclusion
or limitation of certain types of costs and/or damages,
so the above limitations may not apply.:

Acco Brands garantit à l’acheteur initial : les lames, pour
une période de 20 ans; et toutes les autres pièces, pour une
période de 2 ans après la date d’achat. Les destructeurs de
documents GBC sont garantis comme suit :
(a) les lames des destructeurs de documents
GBC RSX128, RDS1713, RDX1413, RDS1819, RDX1619 sont
garanties exemptes de défectuosités de matériau et de f
abrication en vertu d’un usage normal pendant une période
de vingt (20) ans à partir de la date d’achat, Un an pour
GDM10 et GDHS7; et
(b) toutes les autres pièces des destructeurs de documents
GBC RSX128, RDS1713, RDX1413, RDS1819, RDX1619 sont
garanties exemptes de défectuosités de matériau et de
fabrication en vertu d’un usage normal pendant une période
de deux (2) ans à partir d e la date d’achat.
L’obligation de GBC en vertu de cette garantie se limite
au remplacement ou à la réparation, au choix de GBC,
des pièces garanties trouvées défectueuses par GBC, sans
frais pour les matériaux ou la main-d’oeuvre. Le ou les
produits de remplacement, au choix de GBC, seront les
mêmes ou des produits considérablement semblables, et
pourront contenir des pièces reconstruites ou réusinées.
Cette garantie e st considérée nulle dans les circonstances
suivantes :
(i) lorsque le produit a subi un mauvais usage,
(ii) lorsque le produit a été endommagé par négligence
ou accident, ou
(iii) lorsque le produit a été altéré par une personne autre
qu’un représentant autorisé de GBC ou par une
entreprise a utre que GBC
(iv) Si le GDM10 ou GDHS7 a ete utilise au CD de loque

REMPLACE TOUTE AUTRE GARANTIE EXPRÈS OU TACITE
ORALE OU ÉCRITE. LES REPRÉSENTATIONS, CONDITIONS
OU PROMESSES INCOMPATIBLES AVEC CETTE GARANTIE
OU EN SUS DE CETTE GARANTIE SONT INTERDITES ET
NE LIERONT PAS GBC, QU’ELLES SOIENT EXPRÈS OU
TACITES, DÉCOULENT DE L’APPLICATION D’UNE LOI,
D’UN STATUT, DE RAPPORTS D’AFFAIRES OU D’USAGE
DU COMMERCE, Y COMPRIS, MAIS SANS S’Y LIMITER,
DE GARANTIES ET CONDITIONS DE QUALITÉ MARCHANDE,
QUALITÉ, DURABILITÉ ET/OU DESTINATION À UN USAGE
PARTICULIER. DANS LA MESURE AUTORISÉE PAR LES LOIS
APPLICABLES, TOUTES LES GARANTIES TACITES
(LE CAS ÉCHÉANT) SONT LIMITÉES EN DURÉE À LA DURÉE
DE CETTE GARANTIE. CERTAINS ÉTATS/PROVINCES ET
JURIDICTIONS N’AUTORISENT PAS LES RESTRICTIONS SUR
LA DURÉE D’UNE GARANTIE TACITE; PAR CONSÉQUENT, LA

RESPONSABLE DES DOMMAGES SPÉCIAUX, INDIRECTS,
PUNITIFS, CONSÉCUTIFS OU AUTRES DOMMAGES
SIMILAIRES, PRÉVISIBLES OU PAS. CERTAINS
ÉTATS/PROVINCES ET JURIDICTIONS N’AUTORISENT PAS
L’EXCLUSION OU LA RESTRICTION DES DOMMAGES
SPÉCIAUX, INDIRECTS, PUNITIFS, CONSÉCUTIFS OU AUTRES
DOMMAGES SIMILAIRES; PAR CONSÉQUENT, LA RESTRICTION
CI-DESSUS PEUT NE PAS S’APPLIQUER DANS V OTRE CAS.
Dans la mesure autorisée par la loi, cette garantie n’est
pas transmissible et prendra automatiquement fin dès que
le propriétaire/consommateur/acheteur initial vend ou se
d ébarrasse autrement du produit. Cette garantie vous
accorde certains droits juridiques spécifiques. Il se peut que
vous disposiez d’autres droits, qui varient d’une juridiction à
l’autre. En outre, certaines juridictions n’autorisent pas
(i) l’exclusion de certaines garanties, (ii) les restrictions

Acco Brands garantizan al comprador original de esta
trituradora GBC: en el caso de las cuchillas por un período
de 20 años y en el caso de todas las demás piezas por un
período de 2 años a partir de la fecha de compra, que
(a) las cuchillas de las trituradoras GBC RSX128, RDS1713,
RDX1413, RDS1819 y RDX1619 están libres de defectos de
mano de obra y material en condiciones de uso y servicio
normales por un período de veinte (20) años a partir de la
fecha de compra, un ano para GDM10 y GDHS7 y
(b) todas las demás piezas de las trituradoras GBC RSX128,
RDS1713, RDX1413, RDS1819, y RDX1619 están libres de
defectos de mano obra y material en condiciones de uso y
servicio normales por un período d e dos (2) años a partir
de la fecha de compra. La obligación de GBC bajo esta
garantía se limita al reemplazo o la reparación, a opción de
GBC, de cualquier pieza garantizada que GBC determine
que está defectuosa, sin cargo por material o mano de
obra. El reemplazo puede ser, a opción de GBC, por el
mismo producto o un producto sustancialmente similar que
puede contener piezas reconstruidas o reacondicionadas.
Esta garantía se invalidará en la s siguientes circunstancias:
(i) si el producto se usó incorrectamente
(ii) si el producto se dañó por negligencia o accidente o
(iii) si el producto fue alterado por cualquier persona que no
pertenezca a GBC o sus agentes autorizados.

MANIFESTACIONES, CONDICIONES O PROMESAS
INCONSISTENTES O ADICIONALES A ESTA GARANTÍA Y LAS
MISMAS NO SERÁN VINCULANTES PARA GBC, YA SEAN
EXPRESAS O IMPLÍCITAS Y YA SEA QUE SURJAN DE LEYES
O ESTATUTOS, DEL CURSO DE TRATATIVAS O DE LOS USOS
COMERCIALES, INCLUIDAS, SIN ESTAS LIMITADAS A ELLAS,
LAS GARANTÍAS Y CONDICIONES IMPLÍCITAS DE
COMERCIABILIDAD, CALIDAD, DURABILIDAD Y/O APTITUD
PARA UN PROPÓSITO PARTICULAR. HASTA DONDE LO
PERMITEN LAS LEYES APLICABLES, LA DURACIÓN DE
CUALQUIER GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA (SI CORRESPONDIERA)
ESTÁ LIMITADA A LA DURACIÓN DE ESTA GARANTÍA.
ALGUNOS ESTADOS Y JURISDICCIONES NO PERMITEN
LIMITACIONES A LA DURACIÓN DE LAS GARANTÍAS
IMPLÍCITAS, POR LO QUE LA LIMITACIÓN PRECEDENTE
PUEDE NO SER APLICABLE A SU CASO. HASTA DONDE LO
PERMITEN LAS LEYES APLICABLES, GBC NO ASUME
RESPONSABILIDAD LEGAL EN NINGÚN CASO POR DAÑOS Y
PERJUICIOS ESPECIALES, INCIDENTALES, PUNITIVOS,
EJEMPLARES, CONSECUENTES O SIMILARES, YA SEAN
PRECEDIBLES O NO. ALGUNOS ESTADOS NO PERMITEN LA
EXCLUSIÓN O LIMITACIÓN DE LOS DAÑOS Y PERJUICIOS
ESPECIALES, INCIDENTALES,
PUNITIVOS, EJEMPLARES, CONSECUENTES O SIMILARES,
DE MODO QUE LA EXCLUSIÓN O LIMITACIÓN PRECEDENTE
P UEDE NO SER APLICABLE A SU CASO.
Hasta donde lo permiten las leyes, esta garantía no es
transferible y terminará automáticamente si el propietario/
consumidor comprador original del producto vende o
dispone de dicho producto de cualquier otra manera.
Esta garantía le otorga derechos legales específicos.
