Capability of building an enterprise-class SAN with SCSI reliability by attaching up-to-four MSA30 SCSI-drive enclosures for a
native capacity of 16.8 TB (using 56 - 300 GB SCSI disks)
Low cost, high capacity - For less than $.01 per/MB customers can obtain up to 24 TB of capacity (eight SATA enclosures)
using up to 96 - 250 GB SATA disk drives.
Flexibility - Can choose SATA configuration for secondary storage of data, and/or SCSI configuration for primary storage,
mixing of both technologies behind the same controller is supported but limited to separate SCSI I/O modules.
