orientation of the pages and verify that, as you lift each page, the correct
month artwork is with the correct calendar month: artwork on top, calendar
month on bottom.
8. With the single sheets stacked together, punch three or more holes through
the top of the calendar (you can buy decorative punches in a variety of fun
shapes). Thread short lengths of ribbon, raffia, or yarn through the holes and
tie them in loose bows. Or bind them with loose-leaf rings or brass
fasteners.
9. When the calendar is bound together, punch a single hole through all the
pages at the bottom of the cover (to hang the calendar on the wall).
Alternative instructions for single page per month wall calendar:
If you wish, you can print your calendar so that each month’s artwork and
calendar page is on a single 8-1/2” x 11” page. The cover and back would not be
used for this version. Here’s how to print:
1. Set your print preference to Best quality.
2. Place a sheet of double-sided high quality inkjet paper in your printer tray.
3. In your printer dialog box, change Page scaling to “Multiple pages per sheet”
(usually in the Page handling area of the dialog box) AND go to “Properties”
area to select “Landscape” printing (typically on the “Features” tab).
4. After printing all of your calendar and cover pages, gather them together in
order.
