Connecting LAN (HP LD4210 and HP LD4710 only)
The LAN input on the display can connect to a media player/computer, a router (switch), or an
Intranet. A LAN connection with the display establishes communication between your media player/
computer and the display. This enables the use of the HP Network Sign Manager program, running on
the connected media player/computer, to assign an IP address to the display, to change display
settings, and to set up HP Media Sign Player options, play lists, and On/Off schedule times.
1. Connect the LAN cable (not included) using one of the following connections:
Computer Direct Connection—Connect the LAN cable to the LAN port on the display and to
the LAN port on the media player/computer (1).
Router—Connect the LAN cable to the LAN port on the display and to a LAN port on the
router (2).
Intranet—Connect the LAN cable to the LAN port on the display and to the Intranet network
via an access point (3).
