Hitachi CP-X3010E Projector User Manual

Exceptional contrast
The Multi-purpose range has a 2000:1 contrast ratio that you’d
expect from high-end projectors. But it also has something extra
special: our Active Iris. This automatically ensures optimal image
contrast and depth perspective during both bright and dark scenes
– for the brightest whites, blackest blacks and boldest colours.
High picture quality
In this projector range, Hitachi brings together a variety of innovative
features for superior picture quality. Motion Adaptive Progressive
Scan reduces line flicker, boosting resolution and smoothing moving
images. Noise Reduction boosts clarity. And Hitachi’s unique
Equalising Gamma Function helps you customise gamma and
colour balance to suit your personal picture preferences.
Power Saving Mode
The Power Saving Mode reduces stand-by power consumption to
less than 5W*.
Template function
This unique Hitachi feature allows you to project different types of
lines and grids onto a whiteboard, blackboard or flip chart, to make
writing and drawing easier.
Input Source Naming
Now you can name your input sources so they’re easier to
understand – for instance, ‘S-video’ can become ‘DVD player’.
16W internal speaker
A powerful speaker ensures you can project sound clearly across
large rooms.
Blackboard and Whiteboard Modes
Projecting onto coloured backgrounds can make images appear
dull – whilst shiny backgrounds can make them uncomfortably
bright. With our Blackboard and Whiteboard modes, you can
ensure optimal brightness whether the screen is black, green or
shiny white.
Daytime Mode
It can be harder to see a projected picture when the sun is shining
brightly. Using Daytime Mode, projections are always vivid and
colourful in a bright environment.

Usability
Eco Mode
Equivalent to the sound of a whisper, the lowest noise setting of
29dB means the projector won’t intrude on your presentations.
Audio Pass Through
When you just need sound and not pictures, this feature lets you
hear the projector’s speakers whilst the rest is on stand-by – helping
you preserve lamp life.
New OSD (On Screen Display) Menu Design
The new menu is much easier to use. Navigating through the
different options is easier, whilst settings are clearly named.
