1871, 1870, 1860 (Communication kits required for all
scales except on Quantum/Ultima).

• NIB - Network interface box. Converts RS-232 serial
line to RS-485 for the scale network.
• Interface Cable - serial port to NIB communications

• Quantum or Ultima with TCP/IP kit
• Industry standard 10BaseT concentrator hubs
• Category 5 wiring recommended
• Ethernet network availability from computer
• Available IP address for each scale on the network
