also cycleon Hi if impropercookwareis used.

• Theglass-ceramiccookingarearetainsheatfor aperiodoftimeaftertheelements
havebeenturnedoff. Put this retainedheatto good use. Turntheelementsoff
a few minutes before food is completely cooked and use the retained heat to
completethe cooking. Becauseofthis heat retentioncharacteristic,theelements
will not respondto changes in heatsettings as quicklyas coil elements. Inthe
event of a potentialboil over, removethe cookpotfrom the cookingarea.
• Whenpreparingfoodswhichcanbeeasilyscorchedor over-cooked,startcooking
at a lowertemperaturesetting andgraduallyincreasetemperature asneeded,
• A highersettingthannormal may benecessarywhenusing eookpotsmadewith
materialthat is slow toconductheat, such as cast iron.
