4. Enter the information required for confidential communica-
tion.
• Enter the confidential password (a 4-digit number) in Confiden. P.W..
• Enter the confidential box name in Name.
• Enter the password (a 4-digit number) in Protect No.
• Select YES or NO in Check Rx P.W..

Specifying the confidential box number, enter the confidential box number, 001-020, in
Confiden. Box No..
• If you designate a confidential box number already defined and press Confiden. P.W., its
definition will be indicated.
• If you press [CLEAR] or [STOP], the information you have entered will be deleted.
• To stop setting up, press BACK.
• For operation on inputting characters, refer to "Entering Names" (p. Appendix-3).
5. Press ENTRY.
The confidential box is registered.
6. Press BACK.
The remote station registration screen will be restored.
7. Press BACK.
The FAX Basic screen will be restored.
