Setting the Internet Fax Functions
Internet Fax related reports are printed and initial values of reception ability for the Internet Fax
communication can be as described below.
Setting the Internet Fax related Report Printing Method
(Report/Print setting)
Set up whether to print Internet Fax related reports.
• Print DSN Message ...............ON/OFF*
When set to ON, received DSN messages are automatically
printed. DSN message is a message transmitted to the
transmitter when the mail arrives at the mail server of the
receiver.
• Print MDN Message...............ON*/OFF
When set to ON, MDN messages are automatically printed.
MDN message is a message when an inquiry to confirm
unsealing from the sender is responded.
• Print E-Mail message body....ON*/OFF
When set to ON, mail message of received E-mail is auto-
matically printed.
• Print E-Mail body of error.......ON*/OFF
When set to ON, a message of a mail for which an error in
the attached file, etc. has arisen is automatically printed.
• Print tx error report.................ON*/OFF
If a transmission error is caused when set to ON, a Transmit
Report is automatically printed.
• Print Rx error report ...............ON*/OFF
When set to ON, an Internet FAX Rx Error Report is auto-
matically printed together with an Internet FAX Error Report
if an attached file of format other than TIFF-F is received or if
a file of binary division is received.
