7. Pull upward on the handle 1to release the system board from the front
latch, slide the system board toward the drive bay assembly, and then
carefully lift the system board out of the chassis.
Note: You might have to tilt the front end of the system board between the
diskette drive and the fan assembly to remove it completely from the chassis.
8. Place the failing system board next to the new system board on a clean, flat
surface.
9. Remove all memory modules from the failing system board and install them
in the same connectors on the new system board. See “Replacing a memory
module” on page 25. Return here after installing the memory modules on the
new system board.
