3. In the Power Options Properties window, select the Alarms tab.
4. Two alarms are available to perform automated OS shutdown: Low
battery alarm and Critical battery alarm.
An automated shutdown can be performed on either alarm.
5. To enable automated shutdown for either alarm, select the associated
Alarm Action button for the alarm you would like to configure.
a. Enable the Alarm Action by checking the box next to “When the
Alarm goes off, the computer will:”
b. Select Shut Down from the drop down menu
c. Click OK to save the changes and close the Alarm Action window.
6. Click the Apply button on the Power Options Properties window,
then click on the OK button to exit.
