Yields are based upon the standards set forth by the ITU-T (formerly known as the
CCITT). The SLEREXE LETTER (hot link to example) is the document used by ALL
facsimile manufacturers to determine consumable (imaging cartridges, toner cartridge,
drum cartridge) yields.
2. What criteria is used to determine low-, mid,- and high-volume segments for fax

The criteria is based on standard and optional paper capacity, memory capacity and
modem speed. The most commonly used criteria is based on that published by
