Cleaning the Platen Roller
Follow these instructions to clean the platen roller
Clean the platen roller every time you load a new roll of
paper labels into the printer.
1. Turn the printer off (O).
2. Press the cover release buttons (on both sides of the
printer) towards the front of the printer. Lift open the
cover.
3. Gently rub the cleaning pen (#114226) across the
platen roller.
Cleaning the Outside of the Printer
Follow these instructions to clean the outside of the
printer.
Clean the outside of the printer when you see grease
build up.
1. Turn the printer off (O).
2. Dampen a soft cloth with water and gently clean the
outside of the printer.
Setting the Date/Time/Hot Hold Time
Scan the following barcodes to set the Date, Time, or Hot Hold Time.
Date Time Hot Hold Time Dry Hot Time
If you need to change the date or time use the top row buttons on the bump pad.

month day adds a year subtracts a year

hours minutes am/pm
Caution
Do not clean the inside of
the printer with a damp
cloth.
Do not clean while the
printer is on.
