Laser safety notice
For safety and regulatory information about third-party products that
may contain Class 1 laser equipment, see the documentation shipped
with the product.
Motion CD-ROM and DVD/CD-RW drives are Class 1 laser products. A
Class 1 laser is considered to be incapable of producing damaging
radiation levels and is therefore determined to be eye safe. These lasers
are exempt from most control measures. Many lasers in this class are
lasers which are embedded in an enclosure that prohibits or limits access
to the laser radiation. However, we recommend that you do not stare
into the beam or view it directly with optical instruments.
Wireless notices
In some environments, the use of wireless devices may be restricted.
Such restrictions may apply aboard airplanes, in hospitals, near

that applies to the use of this device, please ask for authorization to use it
prior to turning it on. For instructions for disabling internal and external
