Major Advancements on the Horizon
Aaskjg ile ilas giuseilg
Our Children’s House at Baylor strives to
provide your children with very good care.
But family involvement is also important to
help your child reach his or her full potential
each day. For example, you can help your child
complete home program activities such as arm or
leg exercises, articulation practice, handwriting
activities and practicing social skills and fine
motor activities. Also, be sure to communicate
your observations of progress to your child’s
therapist. We also encourage your input in goal
writing and developing individual plans of care
for your child.

Please communicate any needs or concerns
to staff members. Check the bulletin board
in the waiting room for additional resource
information. The community resource book also
contains information you may find helpful and
it has been recently updated. Copies are located
behind each page, but if you need additional
copies, please let us know.
Kudos Board
Has someone made a real difference in your
child’s life – such as a friend, a therapist, or a
child? Here’s your chance to tell them. Post
your thanks on our kudos board, located on the
bulletin board in our waiting room. Examples:
“Jill H. is great with my son.” “My experience
has been awesome.” “Logan’s PT is the best with
him.” “My experience has been awesome.”
“Kristin is a wonderful SP. My son loves her.”
We appreciate your comments.

and your child.
