Removing the Optical Disk Drive
To remove the ODD, first remove the battery (see Removing the Battery), then the HDD
Cover (see Removing the Hard Disk Drive), then perform the following steps:
1. Remove the screws retaining the optical drive connector as shown in Fig. 5

2. Push the metal plate in the HDD compartment in order to disconnect the optical
drive out from the base unit as shown in Fig. 6
