16.1. Laser Safety
The scanner emits laser beams.
JIS C6802: 2005: Laser class 1
IEC 825-1/EN 60825-1: Laser class 1
FDA CDRH Laser class I. Complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11 except
for deviations pursuant to laser notice No. 50 dated July 26, 2001
Class 1 laser devices are not considered to be hazardous when used for their intended
purpose. Avoid staring into the laser beam.
