Clean the air lter unit5 )
Removing the dust from the air lter unit
z
(i) Remove the dust from the air lter unit using a vacuum or other cleaner.
If the dust persists after cleaning with a vacuum, wash the air lter unit in water.
z
Washing the air lter unit
z
(i) Soak the air lter unit in water or warm water and rinse it lightly.
Do not use materials such as blushes or detergent.
z
When you rinse the air lter unit, hold the frame and avoid excessive force on the lter part.
z
(ii) Change the water two or three times while you rinse the air lter unit.
Rinse it until the cloud of the water clears. If the air lter unit is not rinsed sufciently, odor may result.

Drying the air lter unit
z
Naturally dry the air lter unit in a well-ventilated place, avoiding dust and direct sunlight.
Do not use a hair drier or other drier.
z
Attach the air lter unit.6 )
Hold the air lter unit that the tab is in left side in the gure, put the right side in the gure rst, and press the
z
tab side until make a click sound.
Close and press up to lock the lter cover.7 )
Make sure that the air lter cover is closed tightly.
z
Reset the lter counter.8 )
Turn on the power and perform [Filter counter reset] in the [Setting] menu.

Attention
After washing the air lter unit, dry it thoroughly before attaching to the projector. Attaching wet air lter unit
z
may cause electric shock or malfunction.
Note
Be sure to attach the air lter unit properly. If you use the projector without attaching the air lter unit, the
z
projector may be damaged due to the dirt or dust.
If the air lter unit has been damaged or dirt remains even after washing it, replace it with a a new lter (Product
z
No.: ET-RFE200).
It is recommended that the air lter unit is replaced after two times of cleaning and reusing.
z
After washing, the capability of the air lter unit may decrease.
z
After washing the air lter unit, reset the lter counter. Otherwise, the power of the projector may be turned off
z
for safety.
