Widescreen
A big, widescreen display that improves productivity by
displaying two A4 pages side by side.
Large viewing area
Viewing area is the visible portion of a monitor screen
available for displaying data.
Windows Vista-ready
Philips Vista-ready monitors are empowered for vibrant,
exciting display of this new, visually sophisticated and
demanding Windows operating system, designed to
enhance your entertainment experience, make you more
productive and help you control your computing
experience at home and in the office, making viewing,
finding and organising information for work or play quick,
efficient and easy.
Compliant with RoHS standards
Philips designs and produces display products in
compliance with strict Restriction of Hazardous
Substances (RoHS) standards that restrict lead and other
toxic substances that can harm the environment.
Lower power consumption
Reduction of the electrical power required to operate a
device.
5 ms on/off response time
On-Off response time is the period required for a liquid
crystal cell to go from active (black) to inactive (white)
and back to active (black) again. It is measured in
milliseconds. Faster is better: lower response time means
faster transitions and, therefore, results in fewer visible
image artefacts in the display of transition of texts and
graphics. On-Off response time is a more important
measure in the display of business content like
documents, graphs and photos.
WXGA+ 1440 x 900 resolution
WXGA+ or Wide Extended Graphics Array plus is a
standard indicating a graphics monitor's ability to display
up to the resolutions 1440 by 900 pixels and supports
simultaneous display of more than one million colours.
WXGA allows monitors to be non-interlaced for better
display performance and increased colour accuracy.
sRGB ready
sRGB is an industry standard that ensures the best
possible match between the colours displayed on your
screen and those in your printouts.
Brightness and contrast button
Conveniently located buttons on the front bezel that
provide one-touch brightness and contrast adjustments.
Embedded power supply
An embedded power supply is a power adapter built into
the body of a display device that replaces a bulky external
power adapter.
One-touch auto adjustment
The auto adjustment key restores optimal screen
position, phase and clock settings with the press of a
single button - without navigation through OSD menus
and control keys.
