! You can refine your search by searching
within the results of the last search. For ex-
ample, searching for genre first and then
artist will give you a list of that artistsal-
bums which fall into the chosen genre.
! When you select a genre from the genre
menu, a list of artists falling within the se-
lected genre will be displayed.
! When you select a genre and artist, a list of
the artists album in that genre will be dis-
played.
! To refine the search from the start, use
BAND (BAND/ESC) to display GENRE and
then start again.
1 Select the desired category in which
you want to search for a song.
Use BAND (BAND/ESC) and switch between
the categories in the following order:
PLAYLIST (playlists)GENRE (genres)
ARTIST (artists)ALBUM (albums)
2 Select the desired list title.
Use a or b (or MULTI-CONTROL) and select
a list title that you want to play.
The songs in the selected list title will begin to
play.
Displaying text
information on iPod
Text information recorded on the iPod can be
displayed.

Note
You can scroll to the left the song title, the artist

Repeating play
For playback of the songs on the iPod, there
are two repeat play ranges: TRK (repeat one
song) and ALL (repeat all songs in the list).
! While RPT is set to TRK, you cannot select
the other songs.

Playing songs in a random
order (shuffle)
For playback of the songs on the iPod, there
are two random play methods: TRK (play back
songs in a random order) and ALBUM (play
back albums in a random order).
