1. Slide the battery compartment
cover in the direction of the arrow
and remove it.
2. Install the batteries as indicated by
the polarity symbols (+ and –)
marked inside the compartment.
Cautions:
• Use only fresh batteries of the
required size and type.
• Never mix fresh and old batter-
ies, alkaline and nickel-cad-
mium batteries, or rechargeable
batteries of different capacities.
