If you no longer want a frequency stored in a channel (and
you do not want to replace that frequency with a different
one), follow these steps to clear the stored frequency.
1. Hold down
SCAN/MAN
until

scanning.
2. Use the number keys to enter the channel number
(1-200) you want to clear.
3. Press
PGM

4. Press

. The frequency number changes to

to indicate the channel is cleared.

marine channel 16.
To stop searching the channels, hold down

To search through the marine bank again, hold down

You can select a marine channel directly. When the scanner
stops searching the marine bank, use the number keys to
enter the two-digit channel number.

To hear your local forecast and regional weather
information, press
WX
. Your scanner begins to scan through
the weather band.
Your scanner should stop within a few seconds on your
local weather broadcast. If the broadcast is weak, you can
press
WX
again to resume scanning.
